    Richmond Depot Type II  Jacket

    Made by Quartermaster Shop in Michigan. This is a well made jacket with a liner. Has Block I buttons.  Used, but in good shape.

    Reproduction Bayonet/Body hook

    This is a fully functioning reproduction bayonet that has been forged to replicate the many examples of dug bayonets that were modified for some purpose other than intended. Often times bayonets were modified to aid in entrenching other forms of labor.  Legend says ones like this were used by grave diggers to move bodies, but I'll leave that to you to decide.

    Confederate envelope style haversack of the Moses Alexander type. Does not match original specifications because the bag is about an inch too shallow and the cover is a little shorter also. Still a decent bag, that is all hand sewn except the strap is sewn with a CW chainstitch machine. Button hole is hand sewn. Has an original glass china button.

    The material is old Family Heirloom Weavers orange/green/dark green heavy shirting that is no longer available. I had a limited piece, and that is why the bag is a little small.

    These were hand crafted in Michigan by John Lammers. They are well made, and a cut above anything available for a comparable price. They are a .58 caliber M1857 box with tins included. Has implement pouch and correct buckles. Does not come with shoulder belt or waist belt.  Cap pouch has sheep's wool liner and nipple pick.

    These are custom made leggings from quality bag leather. They are dark leather which matches the original sets matched to the regiment, but not the Trioni painting which shows a 5th New York style leggings of ocre leather.

They are hemmed at with about two inches in the hem and are a size 35 at the waist.   There is a back adjustment belt on these which made them over 120.00 when new. They have some soiling, but are very serviceable.

    White Shirt - Small size.

    I have three for sale. It is a very good modern made reproduction of a 19th century shirt, and is very slightly used. It is made of heavy white cotton shirting and has has hand sewn buttonholes and bone buttons. Has rounded tails, and an appropriate pleat in the back.

    The problem is, it is very small. Size 36 chest or maybe just a touch bigger, and fairly short in the arms.
